• We are doing it through UNISA, Inspired Science, Engineering and Technology (I-SET) is a UNISA Community Engagement Flagship Project that is based in the College of Science, Engineering and technology (CSET) and supported by Research and Innovation. The aim of the project is to inspire young people and their communities’ interest in Science, Engineering and Technology through fun activities of robotics.
• We have 15 young girls from three different high schools and 10 from different primary schools.
• We are exposing them to the 4th Industrial Revolution, the technology that is emerging. despite that we are deep in rural areas we believes in education as a powerful weapon to fight poverty.4
